The 3 things I can do as a strategist:
- Help you clarify what is really important in your life
This is the crucial first step. We can quickly and easily create a strategy but if we don’t know what we’re aiming to achieve at the end of it, it’s probably not going to work. Nobody writes a recipe without first deciding what they are trying to make
2. Look at what resources you have available now
So, we know you want to make an organic strawberry tart…but you only have access to spring greens, potatoes and eggs. A plan that requires you to have ingredients you can’t access right now is a none starter…unless it includes steps that give you access to the required resources.
3. Create a plan that makes the best use of the resources you have to get what you want
It really is as simple, and as difficult, as that! Often this step means looking at different aspects of your life and business. You want the strawberry tart so…do you have a garden? Can you grow your own strawberries for next year? Is there a local allotment group that are selling their extra produce? What about friends or colleagues? Or maybe it’s more a case of increasing your income so you can just buy a strawberry tart? Maybe you have everything you need but just wont allow yourself to go ahead and get what you want (in which case, we look at mindset, pick apart why you feel like that and put tools in place to help you change)
